Journal of Digital Anatomy Education and Simulation is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to rigorous, evidence-based research on how digital technologies, simulation, and data-informed methods improve the teaching, learning, and assessment of anatomy.
## Aims
The journal advances inclusive and ethically responsible uses of digital and simulation-based approaches across the anatomical sciences. It provides an international forum for educators, anatomists, clinicians, learning scientists, instructional designers, and technologists to examine how digital approaches affect anatomical knowledge, spatial understanding, practical competence, learner engagement, and educational accessibility — with an emphasis on educational evidence and learning outcomes rather than technological novelty alone.
## Scope
The journal welcomes research across gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, radiological anatomy, and clinical anatomy, at undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing professional-development levels.

## What We Publish
To maintain a strong evidence base, the journal prioritizes studies with meaningful educational evaluation and outcome measurement. It does not normally consider descriptions of applications or models without evaluation, general medical or surgical simulation in which anatomy is not a central learning objective, small satisfaction surveys without adequate methodological contribution, purely software-engineering work without anatomical or educational validation, or vendor-controlled evaluations without transparent conflict-of-interest disclosure.
